Section 18 due October 17
1. I read this one more slowly than the last few sections and it really helped. (imagine that) the theorems seem pretty straightforward. I'm just a little confused about how I'm supposed to be conceptualizing a,b vs x,y in the integral linear combination. just intuitively it would be good to know what the difference between these terms are. I don't know if that makes any sense to ask or not.
2. I thought the tie in to even and odd proofs in the text was interesting. I like that math includes lots of different approaches to the same concepts. Truth is one great whole and that is evidenced when we approach proofs from different angles and reach the same conclusion. It's also very helpful for me to be able to think about the same problem from multiple angles until I find one that is more intuitive for me to understand.
