Section 15
1. It's like SUPER INDUCTION. But like confusing... I'm not sure if I understand it or not. The explanation in the text was confusing and the concept wasn't very intuitive for me... at least not as straightforward as the normal induction that we covered. I think the in class examples of proofs will really help to elucidate the topic.
2. The discussion in class we had on recursion and the definition of factorials as a recursive definition was so interesting to me. I know we're not really on recursive functions in python yet but i just wonder if recursive definitions like that are used often in mathematics? Or was that just a nice little tie in to the coding? Anyway, it piqued my interest for sure. I'm looking forward to that section in python.
